Welcome to my place on the Internet. Here you will find links to my Birth Stories, my Weight Loss Story and my Testimony. I am 33 years old, married to Kerry for 10 years and mother to
2 beautiful boys and a gorgeous little girl. This page has information
on all the things
that are important to me. First and foremost I am a Christian. For my testimony and the story of my faith please go to the link to my testimony at the bottom of this page. As a Christian I am pro-life and anti-abortion. I love babies and believe that they are precious gifts from God. I have now had 3 ceasarean births but I remain a firm believer in natural, unmedicated vaginal birth. I still believe that a Vaginal Birth After Ceasarean (VBAC) is safer than an Elective Repeat Ceasarean Section (ERCS). However I have learn't that natural birth is not necessarily a possibility for all women and birth by ceasarean section is by no means a failure. A healthy mother and a healthy baby is by far the most important thing. There are links to my birth stories at the bottom of this page. I believe breastmilk is the best food for babies. While I failed miserably with breastfeeding Matthew, I breastfed Joshua until 15 months of age and Emily until 12 months, when she weaned herself. I feel that women should be given as much support as possible to breastfeed their babies and that they should be strongly encouraged to do so if at all possible. I am nearly finished my training as a breastfeeding counsellor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association. I am a part time worker and a full time Christian Mum. I go to a lot of trouble to ensure that my children are cared for by other family members when I am away from them. I feel very strongly that children should be raised by their parents and not outside carers. It is a known fact that children shape their values from observing the adults closest to them and with whom they spend the most time. I love listening to music, reading a good book, especially a good Christian romance or a good murder mystery and doing cross stitch when I get time.Unfortunately I don't get a lot of time these days and still have 2 cross stitches awaiting completion from before Matthew was born! Lastly, I love to spend time with my family and friends, they are the most important parts of my life by far!
